This is one of my favorite chapters in the book because it’s the most illuminati types that transcend words into pictures or images. And when I think of technology and how it has catapulted to the forefront of humanity I have to think it’s the whiteboard that has brought on a new frontier. We may say “sci-fi or NASA” or even “One Direction,” but it’s the old school that lends to new school ways of thought. I can’t for the life of me muster up any elegant testimony of how transforming this mode of communication really is. It’s a life changer. It’s a dream chaser. It’s what makes up all of Americana. We all have a dream, we all need to change, and we all live in America, except for those who don’t.

Being a visionary in this day and age is being aware ahead of time, what will happen in time. There are at least seven common rules of thumb for those who see something that no one else sees, and then acts on it, believing for sure, it will take place. A person of vision is:

Optimistic about the future.

Focused on the strengths of those he works with.

Never satisfied but always content (they seem happy where they are but refuse to stay there).

Consumed with making tomorrow better than today(they never settle).

Accepting of change.

Inclusive, not exclusive(hopefully they share their vision).

And the vision is inside them.

So when I mention WT(whiteboard tech), I’m hoping all of us will look for those seven qualities weeping out of each one of our pores, and start the process of becoming ‘art’ to the world!
